Tanganrakyat.id , Ciputat, Tangerang – Executive Director of the Center for Uyghur Studies (CUS) Abdulhakim Idris stated that violations of human rights (HAM) that befell the Uyghurs in East Turkestan, need to be addressed and get international attention.
Speaking at an international seminar with the theme “Indonesian Humanitarian Responses on Uyghur” at the University of Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UMJ) FISIP Campus, on Monday, April 3, 2023, Idris assessed that Muslim countries in general have not taken a firm position in their attitude towards human rights violations committed by China against the Uyghurs.
